Movie, TV show and people results are sorted by search term relevance and popularity, as determined by TMDB, which provides the data.
Movie and TV results for a person are sorted differently. Movies are sorted by casting order (starring roles appear first) and then by popularity. TV shows are first sorted by the number of episodes in which the person appears and then by popularity.
People results show all people associated with a movie or show whether it be for acting or as part of the crew. However, selecting a person results in displaying only acting appearances for the person.
Tap on a result to view details about the show or movie. Information includes:
Release year (movies) / Series dates (TV)
Movie / show description
Link to additional information on TMDB and a link directly to the movie or show’s web site, if it exists
